I adore woodland creatures. Making the different characters and the little scout outfits for them was my favorite part
of working on this story.
I'm hoping this story inspires friendship amongst many kinds of people, as well as bring a curiosity into groups that take kids outside, help them develop skills, and learn about teamwork and kindness.
Initially ignored for his size,
Theodore perseveres.
Using his skills, all the items in his pack
and his wilderness survival book,
the other larger characters finally notice
and admire his strength and good work.
